Sexuality Mentoring
I work with people who are new to the sexuality field, new to teaching and facilitating or to writing curricula to assist them on their journey. It requires a lot of work, tenacity and skill to become a successful sexuality educator, trainer, coach or writer. I offer individual and group mentorship sessions. In these sessions we can work on a variety of things, including:
- Making decisions about how to break into the sexuality field, where to get the best education and how to set yourself up for the job or work life of your dreams
- Making a step-by-step plan for how to develop a career in the field of sexuality
- Mentorship and guidance about teaching and facilitating
- Developing confidence as a sexuality professional
- Help in effective curriculum development and specific feedback on curricula
- Guidance about where to book yourself and how to network amongst the sexuality circles that are right for you
- Assistance in navigating the non-profit world
- Mentorship for how to work with youth effectively and how to build trust
